Terms

Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of the LetterDesk apps for iPhone and Mac. Using LetterDesk means you agree to them.

What LetterDesk is

LetterDesk helps you scan, read, organize, and act on your mail. It provides general information and drafting assistance to help you understand and respond to letters. It does not provide legal, tax, medical, or financial advice, and its summaries and drafts are a starting point, not a professional opinion. For decisions that carry real consequences, confirm the details yourself or consult a qualified professional.

Accuracy

LetterDesk works hard to read letters correctly and flags a letter for review when it is unsure. Even so, automated reading can make mistakes. You are responsible for verifying the facts that matter, such as amounts and deadlines, against the original letter before you act on them.

Your content

Your letters and the data LetterDesk derives from them are yours. You are responsible for having the right to scan and store the documents you add.

Subscriptions

Premium and other paid plans are billed through your Apple ID. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least a day before the period ends, and you can manage or cancel them in your device Settings. Prices are shown in the app and may vary by region.

Acceptable use

Do not use LetterDesk to break the law, to process documents you have no right to, or to attempt to disrupt the service. LetterDesk may limit or end access that is abusive or that puts the service at risk.

Warranty and liability

LetterDesk is provided as is, without warranties beyond those that cannot be excluded by law. To the extent the law allows, LetterDesk is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the app, including a missed deadline or a misread amount that you did not verify.

Changes and contact

These terms may be updated, and the date above will change when they are. Questions can be sent through our support page.
